Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (ABV) is the main international airport serving Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria. Concretely, the airport is located about 40 km from Abuja city centre. Nigerian currency is the called “Naira”. 1€ = 213 Nairas (so don’t get scared to see lots of numbers!).

ABV Airport has one large passenger Terminal, where you can find the following airlines:

Abuja Airport Lounges

- Global Lounge: floor 2 open from 7:00h to 23:00h. You can purchase the lounge pass (29€ per up to 3 hours and it is required to be purchased 24 hours in advance).

- SDS Lounge: located in the International Terminal. It has showers and beds and it’s open 24 hours.

- Lounge One: located in the Terminal B area next to the security checks (domestic flights) open from 6:00h to 20:00h. 

Abuja Airport Hotels

Abuja Airport has no hotels within itself, but there are some hotels near it like the following:

- Western Dreams Hotel: located about 25 minutes from the airport (by airport shuttle upon request)

- Lake Crescent hotel: (about 30 minutes from the airport by airport shuttle).
